Harris
Ministries is the faith based evangelistic ministry of Carl and Terri Harris. The heart of this ministry is to shake the world for God. Our desire is to see the lost saved; the church revived, equipped, and encouraged to breakthrough the enemy lines and take back those things that are rightfully ours; and to see the fullness of the operation of the Holy Spirit everywhere we go healing the sick, delivering the oppressed, and empowering others for full service.
The Harrises
daily witness the power of God through signs and wonders and are constantly amazed as the supernatural becomes evident. Since 1995 when the Harrises began full-time ministry, they have seen thousands saved, healed, delivered, baptized in the Holy Spirit, and leading victorious Christian lives - to God be ALL the glory!
Carl's preaching is hard-hitting with a punch of side-splitting humor. The truth of the gospel comes across with crystal clarity, while just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down. Carl's contemporary southern gospel style of singing has at times been compared to that of a crooner.
Harris Ministries is recognized by the United States of America as a not-for-profit organization classified as a public charity under code 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
Born in
Louisville Kentucky, Carl made a commitment to Christ at an early age. When he was eight years old he felt a definite call to preach the Gospel. He jokingly says that he told God, "When I get back from the moon that's exactly what I will do."(He wanted to be an astronaut.) But this was the beginning of a life of Holy Spirit development that still continues to this day. And in the process Carl has ministered in a multitude of ways. He began to minister in then Evangel Tabernacle's zone churches which met in homes across Louisville as well as attempting every available post he could find in his local church (later renamed Evangel Christian Life Center Assembly of God and is now Evangel World Prayer Center). His pastor, W. L. Rodgers, recognized the call upon his life and opened many wonderful opportunities to him during his latter teens and early twenties.
At barely 20 years old, Carl was heard singing at Evangel by Doctor Edwin Louis Cole and was invited to travel with that ministry. This afforded Carl a great opportunity to experience life on the road and to witness first-hand the anointing at work in a great evangelist.
After years of ministry under the umbrella of others, God began to press Carl to move into his own evangelistic ministry. Carl realized that he was not truly prepared to minister the Gospel to the depth he desired so at the age of 24 went back to school and earned an undergraduate preseminary degree with minors in biblical languages and Bible at
Southeastern College of the Assemblies of God in
Lakeland, Florida. During his time at Southeastern, Carl was youth pastor at three different churches consecutively. After graduating and under the leading of the Holy Spirit, he enrolled in the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary and earned his Masters of Divinity.
Today, Carl crisscrosses the country every year with his wife, Terri, and daughter, Lilly, bringing the message of salvation, hope, and victory. They have seen thousands make commitments to Christ. Thousands have been filled with the Holy Spirit. Countless lives have been changed - being healed, delivered, encouraged, and strengthened by the awesome power of God.

Terri has a heart for God and it shows itself in her zeal for true worship and her determination to encourage the body of Christ to develop a real and vibrant relationship with Him. Terri calls all to truly evaluate their spiritual lives and not settle for less than what God desires for them.
Terri has been in the evangelistic ministry since 1995 when husband, Carl, first graduated from seminary. She has been privileged to speak and minister at Ladies Retreats, Choir Retreats, and District Ladies Meetings, as well as regular revival services with Carl.
Saved at the age of 15, Terri lost no time becoming involved in ministry. Prior to full-time ministry with Carl, she was involved in various kinds of lay ministry including working with girl's ministries, college and career ministries, youth ministries, children's ministries, puppet ministry, visitation ministry, and missionary outreaches. Over the years she has been an avid student of the Bible, and studies to show herself approved. Terri knows there is no substitute for the Word of God nor for the anointing and she definitely brings both to every opportunity for ministry.
In addition to focusing on ministry, Terri earned a B.S. in computer science, graduating in 1985 from Tennessee Technological University. Terri worked in the information technology field for 12 years prior to full-time ministry.
